AI and Automation Practitioners are found in organisations of all sizes across the private, public and third sectors. The broad purpose of the occupation is to identify, design and deliver practical improvements in how work gets done, using AI and automation to solve real-world business challenges.

They analyse existing processes, evaluate digital tools and platforms, and configure low-code and no-code AI-driven automations to unlock time and cost savings across teams.

 Business analysts are found in organisations of all sizes across the private, public, and third sectors. The broad purpose of the occupation is to investigate business situations, identify opportunities for improvement, and define the changes in processes, data, and technology that deliver measurable business value.


This apprenticeship is delivered by DRLS in collaboration with the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA), a leading global professional body for business analysis. IIBA's certification content is embedded in the curriculum, and apprentices are prepared for IIBA's Entry Certificate in Business Analysis (ECBA) alongside the Level 4 apprenticeship, at no additional cost to the employer — giving them internationally recognised credentials that travel with their career.

This can be in any business creating content to engage with its audience. The broad purpose of the occupation is to develop and create written and audio visual content that can be used across a variety of platforms and media. This may include social media, broadcast or in print.  


A content creator works to a brief. They research, prepare and develop the messaging to maximise audience engagement.

This occupation is found in primary, secondary, special schools, alternative provision, and further education institutions such as sixth forms and colleges. Teaching Assistants work across all age ranges, supporting all learners.


The broad purpose of the occupation is to support the class teacher to enhance learners’ progress and development either in groups or individually.
